I'm having trouble gleaming which liner you are talking about, but from what i understand, everyone who has been fitting 34"+ tires has only had to re-orient (front and top of wheel well) or reshape (rear of wheel well) the plastic liners, not remove them entirely. Seems like that would be a better option to keep from spraying road debris to all the nooks and crannies that are usually covered under your truck. Especially for someone in the NE, where I assume they use some harsher anti-freezing agents in the winter.
Not those liners, the ones parallel to the wheel. We trimmed and heat molded the fender liners. Pics in next post...

A couple more pics, attached, including where the liner was removed between the wheel and other drivetrain components.

305/65/18 KO2 on 18x8 BBS TRD PROs. 1.25" spacers. Stock besides fender liner/mud guard mods.

It looks great but as my DD, it's terrible. Did I mention it looks great though? LOL. I knew what I signed up for.

I bought the same size tires and have the gold Heritage wheels for my 2019 LX. I bought 1" spacers, do you think your 1.25" spacers were necessary or would 1" be ok?

I honestly don’t remember. I believe I needed some clearance from tire to uca and happen to have some 1.25” spacers handy.
