ROOFRACK SOMETHING LIKE THIS .BUT TOP CAN STILL OPEN ALL THE WAY
Yeah, but building a trailer is going to be cheaper than either a 40 or an 80!
Those old fold out beds/seats might work good with a kitchen set-up. In fact, in the first pic, I thought that the folding brackets were for something like that. The door in the end gave it away, though.
Building a trailer is not as hard as everyone thinks I built my trailer for under $480 and it is setup to be a 3/4 ton 50in by 60in trailer small. All you need to do is find a steel shop that will cut the parts and contact ABC trailer Parts and buy a kit with the axles and the right bolt pattern.
thats a sweet little thing'It look like ABC carry only 5 lug ,who have the best adaptors to go to 6 on 5.5 .i saw a few when I SEARCH ,what is the line between cheep and good
thx
Marius, Congrats on the nice score. Since you are looking to replace the axle and you will probably select a wheel hub to allow the trailer wheels to match your truck wheels, which truck will you match it to? The 100, 40 or the 80? Plus will you be bringing it to GSMTR this year?
must be my lucky day at TSC clearens price on coupler.
axle should come in this wk
What is best place to put water cans ,inside or in a box on the front of trailer I got 5 x6 gal
I line the water jugs up across the front wall of the bed. 5 should fit with a little extra room, maybe? Or is yours narrower than the typical 1/4 ton trailer?
I have a load bar that I narrowed to fit across the bed on our M101 CDN that goes up against the jugs. The M 416 pattern trailers are narrower than most load bars will go, but if you look around you can find one that can be modded to work in that narrow of space.
We draw water right out of the jugs with our gas water heater that hangs on the side of the bed. My back's flaky, so the less moving 5-gallon containers, the better.
If you use enough water the jugs start getting empty, they can easily be moved back in the bed to keep balance within reasonable limits.
