3.4L into an 89 excab

I just got dibs on a 3.4 v6 from a 96 runner 2wd. Iwould like to get this into my 89, the 22re is pushing 240,000 on the od. and is in dyer need of a rebuild. the v6 is still in the runner and I have heard it run, fires right up. the trans is shot so I can get the runner for $300.00, body and interior are lil ruff but its still a deal. I need advise on the swap and mating 4cyl trans (w56) to the v6.

Sorry, but you're not gonna be able to just bolt up that engine to a W series transmission. Besides, you want an R series trans, b/c a W series wouldn't hold up to that power.
