3.0L Engine Rebuild '91 4Runner

can anybody recommend a mechanic in Phoenix area to rebuild my 3.0L with only 113k original miles? typical low compression @ 125 each cylinder but otherwise runs fine. head gasket was replaced at 53k. truck is cherry with tons of upgrades (OME, ARB locker etc) and I'd rather keep it than sell for low $$.

Low compression across all 6??? Sounds like it just needs a top end, 113k on the bottom end is nothing... Sorry, no recommendation for mechs in AZ.... But welcome to Mud!!!!

BTW, 125 across the board isn't a sign that a rebuild is necessary yet.

Go to Toyo Works at 7 E. Hatcher. TOYOWORKS | Toyota, Lexus, Scion Auto Repair – Sunnyslope | Phoenix AZ 623-340-0959. Both Redmuttonchops and I have used him. Owner is andre, Mutton had a full rebuild and they do great work.
