Wholly mother of small country swaps BCmotor, FANEFFINGTASTIC JOB! How long do you have in it from the time you pulled the old motor?

Love seeing a V8 emblem on the rear of an early 80 too! Nice touch!

I made all in 2 weeks front tho moment i remove the hood remove the older engine 4 hours made the custom engine brackets 4 hours
put engine and trans 2 hours made the transfer case bracket 3 hours , wiring :hhmm: 5 days because if have to be perfect
I made complete apart wiring to work whit the fuse box apart to the factory fuse box, mi car have 2 fuse box, and then i put radiator electric fan whit 2 speeds that have to work whit the a/c that take me 2 days I made made the battery case 4 hours what else  let me see .I made some king of hybrid instrument cluster between land cruiser and tundra the result is nice everything work
perfect ,speed and and rpm from tundra and oil pressure battery temp volt from land cruiser . a/c that was a nightmare i dot no how welding aluminum, but I made the design , a have a friend they welding aluminum they made the welding , and the a/c is work perfect 45 Fahrenheit :grinpimp: thanks to the electric fan . the rest its not take to much time in mi country like California and another states you need to pass the smog test i take the car to a muffler shop they put the all muffle and catalytic converters the result CO: 0.10% max is 0.50 % and HCR: 012 max 125
I need to use factory canister and another things from tundra

Nice swap! Congrats on passing retieve. What part of Costa Rica are you? I lived in Barrio La Ceiba in Alajuela. I'm hoping one day I'll go back and take my 80 with me!

Your skills are incredible, What else was involved to go propane?

Great swap

I am in the process off doing a swap like that, but us a 93 ls400 complete w/ecu and trans to LC transfer case. That spagetti is scary and dont have the shelter, to me backyard really means BY and aquiring parts are lim to none or the usual special order here on GUAM. By the way great build, nice skills and drive thats 2 for the team. Out here gas reg. is $4.62 (91) $4.97 des $5.12 and lpg is $88.00 for 50# and 177.00 for 100#. Have fun and when mine is done maybe we both can cruz.

the reason to use propane is the price , gasoline ist not cheap in cr almost 6 dollars ONE GALLON 3.785 LITERS v8 engine love gasoline the propane is 2 dollars the gallon , you see mi point now?
the propone system is not cheap the price is one million CR money , 2000 dollars but they save you alot of money in gasoline , the propane system is a full inyeccion system they use ecu ,wiring ,map sensor ox sensor and propane inyector , the propane ecu stolen the signal from the gasoline ecu and reproduce the signal to the propane inyectors and disconect the gasoline inyectors ist a very good design all the propane system is made in italy , the propane system use a propane tank , the propane is liquid they travel to a cooper pipe from the tank to evaporator the evaporator is hot used engine coolant to work and they made the conversion liquid to gas the rest is simple the same design like gasoline fuel injectors regulators fuel rail and bla bla bla
