Awesome event this year, i cant wait for next year's!

Joe, I know I don't have any action shots of you and your rig because me and my rig could never go where you go (but I have dreams!).....BUT.....I did get to enjoy the sound of your 4 banger from a distance on several occasions and what a nice sound that is!!!! I think at one point Saturday night it was probably at 6 grand for 3 plus minutes!!

A big thanks to John and everybody who made this another great outing. I don't post here a lot but figured I would post up a few of the pics I did take.

Trail #1 on Friday, so easy you could make it through in a E350 2wd work van;)

And last but not least, looking out the back of Clint's rig Saturday night. Funny thing is I think John was about 15 ft. behind us, no headlights:flipoff2:

Thanks once again to John for everything, Phil for the food, Scott for leading and Clint for letting me ride with on Saturday night(and other things).

Very good weekend. I was happy to beat on my truck sunday. After running 44 and backwards on 10, all I can say is that lockers and SAS is overrated:flipoff2: except for getting out of 10. Thanks agian for pulling me out clint and sorry about the mud again tony. Next time I see ya Ill get ya a beer:beer: I guess it is time to throw in that elocker i have sitting in my garage. oh and what trail did phil lead was it the one he passed up:hhmm: bbq was good though so he did turn out to be useful. and a special thanks to tom(TNT) for the 30 seconds of hear loss on sunday as well:censor:

Thats typical Joe. Believe it or not his driving style almost always works.

Yeah and those are 42's on stock running gear with 400,000+ miles. I think he is just trying to see how much abuse and neglect a 22re will take...the conclusion is ALOT!!!!!!!!!

In this video his temp was pegged before he even started...

This was Eriks bad ass mini. He asked me if it would be better to take off the doors or leave them on...I asked do you like your doors, or do you like to stay clean. He said I like my doors. So I said take them off...then Joe said he may not be able to get them back on after this weekend. We all giggled but then after 10 min on the first trail on friday....

I made it about halfway up the hill, and the truck just stopped, it didnt slide back down at all, it just held steady. I knew if i let up and backed back down, i wouldnt have the horsepower to get even half as far as i was, as backing back down puts you into the entrance of Landcruiser Trail and a big mud hole. I figured if it was holding steady, there was traction somewhere, so i just stayed in it. The tires cleaned out, heated up, found some bite and after sitting nearly stationary for a couple minutes it shot up the rest of the climb like a rocketship. It actually grabbed so hard and so fast that i almost wasn't able to keep the truck pointed uphill.

And to be fair, while i do punish the truck at the cliffs, for the most part its only at the cliffs. Im not even that hard on the motor at silver lake, because i know that anywhere else i can't stay in it and find some traction. What was killing me sunday was being tailgunner and having to run through what the guys in front of me tore up. Like John said, 9 times out of 10 it works out there for me, if not more often than that. Plus, i do like to try and provide some entertainment while out wheeling, both for myself and those on the sidelines.:p

Nice video's John, and thanks for putting on such an awesome event. Thanks to everyone at the Cliffs, Tom, and Phil for the food. Next year should be a blast.
