Local hamfest? I must've missed that one. What was the price for your unit, if you don't mind me asking! I like the size of the faceplate and very large letters.

Local to my place in Tejas, not in NM, sorry!

It was $525, which is cheaper than I've seen it at any of the discount places on-line.

I like the size of the faceplate and numerals also (damned age and presbyopia!), but wish the memory name labels were a little larger, or that you could swap the location and size of the frequency and the memory names on the display.

Will do, though it will probably be after Christmas before I get a GPS hooked up and APRS running. Really like it just as an ordinary radio already.
