I've read all the post related to the 2H primer pump and some 3B posts also. The general answer is to go with a Bosch primer pump which is better than the OEM.

The question is: what is the Bosch part number for a 2H? I've seen the Bosch 2 447 222 126 for the 3B but I want sure it fit.

Thanks!

Yep the bosch pump will fit both a 3B and 2H. Makes life a bit easier when doing the fuel filters.

Ok, I'm about to make the replacement. I'm wondering if they are a proper way to change it without too much diesel spill?

As far as I know, last time I unscrew the pump handle, diesel was flowing everywhere from the seal... So I guess that remove the primer pump will do the same!

NAPA lists this part as "Part Number: ATM 0000908850" at cost of $18.99.

This one lasted about a month in my brothers 2H, its leaking worse than the original one we took off. Need to call Napa about that, hope they can warranty.

Yeah I live like 10min form the border so no issues there.
I'm an hour away, doesn't worth the trip. Tell me how the install go when you'll install it on your brother rig.

They should work on any metric fuel pump, so yes I'd say the chances are astronomically good.
