Wow, these just popped up in Australia. It looks like a superbly finished product. A nice case, potted PCB, factory spec plug. Very slick indeed.

I wonder if a 24V version is in the works. Definitely spendy, but so are rides in a tow truck. Are the factory relays known to fail?

I believe there may be some movement towards a 24V version. The factory relays are not potted (covered in expoxy) and do suffer from moisture ingress/corrosion.

With regards to the price.. keep in mind that its in Aussie Dollars.. I think it translates to $US234.

fancy that , I met a guy who is just making the relay board and you reuse the original toyota box and pin plug, nearly half the price of that one. if you put 2h edic on facebook market place he is there.

I saw that! He seems really enthusiastic and keen, total credit to a guy working alone to get that PCB manufactured, loaded and ready for sale!

It's great that Hendra have gone the extra yard and really finished the product though, potted, sealed, great housing, proper plug, harness connection. And they've been in business for a lot of years! The sealed unit is a big thing given the ingress of water to the footwell that so many cruisers have, combine it with alternating layers of dust and its a recipe for disaster - tough environment for an unsealed PCB. Hendra's version is worth every dollar extra I think for the level of finish and business background.

Either way, I'm just super pleased the 2H is getting some aftermarket attention for these more obscure parts!
