2h 1989 ute EDIC problems

Hi guys,
This is my first post and i'm having trouble with my engine pretty much cutting in and out whilst i have my headlights on and i can hear the EDIC clicking on the inside of the cabin, any help or suggestions would be much appreciated

On my phone right now so hard to copy and paste. Do a search for Edic clicking and Edic funky chicken(I believe) in the diesel/24v thread. Found some info on there when I did a search.
