2F waterpump swap ?

I'm nearly done with my 2F waterpump swap w/ oil cooler.

Problem is, there aren't enough places to hookup the oil cooler and heater, and I don't know which direction coolant flows through the oil cooler, or I think I could make a T-fitting to hook both the oil cooler return and heater return to the bottom radiator hose.

So what I guess I really need to know is which direction (if it matters) does coolant normally flow through the oil cooler. And if the "extra" fitting on the 2F pump (vs non oil coolerpumps) is a feed line or a return line.

Oil Cooler hoses

I believe the hose from the bottom of the water pump to the front of the oil cooler is the supply hose. The hose running up from the oil cooler to thermo housing is the return.

With regard to the heater hoses, the hose from the cylinder head should be the supply (hotest), and the hose to the lower rad hose should be the return.

Are you trying to install an oil cooler on a non-cooler engine? In that case, you need the oil cooler type water pump and the oil cooler type thermo housing.

I have an oil cooler type waterpump, but no oil cooler type thermo housing.

I couldn't remember from when I worked on some 60's if they had a different thermo housing or not. I bought a bunch of parts from a lister on here and I was under the impression that everything cooling-related was there but I guess not.
