Went to change the thermostat on my 82 FJ60 , and the upper gasket I purchased from Toyota was a lot smaller than the gasket I pulled out of the thermostat housing I was just wondering if this is normal do they swell over time? The old one fit perfectly in the indention of the upper thermostat housing whereas the new one did not fill it out.
