Jim. Thanks! Now that my rig is running (thanks to you! Torque rod bracket perfect) guess I’ll have to watch for leaks to determine the exact source.

Any suggestions for Copper crush washers for other bolts? or suggestions?

The 3 plug bolts are steel, screwed into cast iron. Use the correct size copper washer and tork them down. If there is a leak, tork a little more.

These are the parts for the 2 big banjo bolts. They don't break out the plug bolts & crushwashers on the iron cooler base.

Hi Jim and other fellow MUDders,

Thank you for posting these Part Numbers for the washers and O rings that go on the oil cooler. I am trying to find the right size copper washer for the bolt that contains the spring and check valve. My bolt diameter measuring tool goes up only in even increments for metric bolts and it looks like the washer for the bolt with the spring and check valve is between 16M and 18M. I assume that it would be a 17M? Can anyone advise what the inside diameter is for this bolt washer might be and where I might be able to find one? Alternatively, can I just obtain a 16M ID copper washer and sand out some of the inside to get it to fit around the bolt threads or would this cause leaks? Also, would the standard torque values apply here? There are no markings on the bolts of the oil filter bracket, so would they be classified as "4T" according to the table below?

Any guidance that you all who have gone before me might be able to provide would be welcome. Thank you in advance!
