Just got my 2F back from rebuilder and my book is at home, can someone tell me what goes in these two holes in the block under my water pump. Thanks in advance

If I remember correctly, the upper right bolt hole is for the stud that holds the front of power steering pump bracket.

Thanks that makes sense. The other one goes all the way in and has me baffled at the moment.

Anyone know what goes in the other hole ? I have four 2F‘s here at my place and none of them have the other hole. They are all early model 2F’s

I have a '79 2F block and an '84 2F block and they do not have that second thread hole either, so no idea what it could be for, sorry.

Thanks for looking, I’m pretty sure it should have a plug in it, I’ll have to try and figure out the threads and go from there.
