Just like the title says. I’m transplanting everything from. 55 into my 74 FJ40. What do I have to do with the driveshafts? Any other gotchas? Do I have to swap the clutch slave cylinder?
Front motor mounts are different between F/2F, 55 parking brake backing plate is mirror image from a 40, You can mount the clutch slave on either side, you'll need a 4-speed clutch pushrod. Rear driveshaft will need to be shortened, dunno about the front. Probably 99 other minor things
