2f engine/trans question

So, does anyone out there have experience putting a 2f engine into a 65lv? My 67 45longbed has a 2f in it with the original 3spd, but I don not know what was required to make the two mate up together. Putting 2f together with original 3spd in the 65lv.

Why wouldn't you go 4 speed? Since you don't have the original engine in it, the originality factor goes out the window. Why not upgrade for better mileage, lower rpms, faster speeds? You can literally get them for free these days.

You could also do a 2f or 3f with a 5 speed. Not a hard upgrade from a 1f to a 2f or 3f.

back to your original question, you would use the bellhousing and flywheel from the 3 speed and install on the 2F, same bolt pattern on the block.

I am putting a 2F in my LV with a 4 spd, all out of a 79 fj55, seems to all mate up without issues. What I would like to do is change to a 5 spd.
