To answer the OP question:
The truck needs the 2F WP, WP pulley and the 2F crank pulley to get everything lined up.

The engine is currently equipped w/ the F pulleys that have a front groove that is too small and too far back to line up w/ later accessories. The 2F direct drive WP pulley will go on the WP but ends up too far back. The F WP is shorter.

So, I have an F water pump on my 2F?

Yes, it is a cast iron F pump.

Do you have a email address? You are not accepting PM's.

If I were to switch water pumps, is the one on the left the correct longer shaft one?

Yes, you need the style like on the left, but if it on an 84 2F, it might also need the oil cooler barb, visible on the right pump.

The corresponding 2F balancer and WP pulley are also needed. I couldn't find a used WP pulley a couple years ago, had to buy new and it was still available. Any 75-newer balancer will work, used in GC is OK.

I am not running an oil cooler now.

Will my current harmonic balancer work?

No, it has the small front groove for a little passenger car belt.
Cruisers use 17mm belts.

So, what specifically should I be looking to buy and from what year truck?

I have a '79 that was missing the adjuster parts and I got them from Cruiserparts.net. Just tell them what you need and they can usually get it for you...

I don't remember what it cost, it was years ago.

How about going with a narrow pulley on your alternator and a wide pulley on your pump. Then you can stay with your current wp, wp pulley and harmonic balancer as they are. Should work if I'm looking at your pics properly.

I would do that. Where would I be able to find those pulley? I don't think I can just swap them.

I already found them. Those are pictures I took of the parts.

I've been gathering parts to do what you're doing but on my F1.5 with the same wp, & pulleys as you have. I have an alternator & bracket off a 75 2F with the alt having the narrow pulley. Bolted them on for a test fit and the narrow grooves line right up. I got the pump from Napa with the keyed & threaded shaft and bought the MAF aluminum wide pulley. Haven't figured out my pump bracket yet but will get to that when the alt is on the pass side & out of the way.

75-87 2F crank pulley, 2 17mm belt grooves.
75-78 2F WP pulley without fan clutch, 2 17mm belt grooves.
75-78 2F WP without fan clutch, without oil cooler.
81-87 2F alternator, internal electronic regulated.
75-87 2F alternator belt, no PS.

Much (all?) could be had used from fellow 'mudders.
