Toyota split rims are everywhere in Australia. 235/85 or 7.5/16 are the standard tyre sizes, and cheap too. You can spike a sidewall of an expensive tyre just as easily with a cheap tyre. So most folk on cattle stations or mining companies run cheap common tyres.

I just took my HJ62 across a 7000 km round trip up the canning stock route on cheap goodride A/T tyres 235/85/16's. I would have no problem mounting 255/85/16's on splits. It's just that this size is not a common size here in Oz, therefore expensive .

If I use size 235 or 255 tires on a split rims, what is the right inner tube size should I use to go with no issue Sir?

When I ran splits, I used the same size tube for 235, 255 and 7.50R16. The tube expands and contracts within a certain size range.
