I've sent that photo to Ramsey for an ID, but they're not very helpful. Can you un-mount it and have a closer look? To confirm it IS a 12V correct?

That cracked casing is a bit concerning, but otherwise it looks good.

Let me know. IT looks like a RE 8000. http://www.ramsey.com/winches/re8000.html

Hi Biff, it is a 12 volt winch. I am having difficulty removing it, I'll need to cut some bolts to do so and I don't have the tools for that yet.

I live in Maple ridge if you would like to look at it.

Saw your other post for a regulator. If you're going by EBI, i'll leave it there for you to look at.

let me know when you're going there, as i work across the tracks.

Clinton.

Still would like...wallet is tired....Can you PM me with your bottom dollar

Thx C

If the wallet is already tired, then shipping costs may make it pass out. I see that you have another winch in your profile.

Care to Trade?

1993 FZJ-80 (White) Locked x3, ARB BullBar,OME 3", snorkel, 9k warn winch, con ferr rack....SOLD.

Ya..but it went w/the 80 when I sold her....was going to be removed if buyer talked me down...but the bastard payed full price......a$$hole.

You couldn't have had this winch for sale before I left Seattle? What do you think that that weighs? Ever travel to or thru S. Seattle?

Thx Chris

Good to hear Biffs - sort of :frown:. I was trying to convince SWMBO, but she was intent the money had to be saved for our trip to Mexico. So it is back to dreaming. At least I managed to sneak in a winch bumper last month. ;) So there is hope yet. No sense in having a winch bumper wiithout a winch. Cheers, John
