hey all,

i have a 1984 60 series, japanese import 24v, im in aus for reference.
I have recently acquired a product we have here called a "bat block 25", got it second hand unopened and cheap. its an all in one 12v system, dc dc charger etc. it has a 12v lithium battery. my main concern is wiring it into my batteries, the dc dc charger allows for 24v input, however i am unsure of how to connect it to the batteries, do i connect the pos and neg onto the grounded battery? - if i do this im worried it will draw off one battery more than the other and unbalance the charge, and maybe only pick up 12v?. do i connect the ground cable to the grounded battery and the positive cable to the other battery? - would this mean it picks up 24v and takes charge evenly off both?

the previous owner has wires running to the back of the car ready for a 12v but i have no idea what he did or where they are connected i have tried following them but they are lost in the birds nest, but ill try to follow them better. will also be running solar charging but i want to have it charge off the alt when i drive.

cheers

Connect your dc/dc to the 24V. Bat. post
Connect the bat block to ground .
Pick your nearest spot for that,as long as it is a good clean ground.
That is all.

@sved is on the money.. your inbuilt Batblock DCDC Charger is good for vehicle input up to 32V:
