i was wheeling a few weeks ago and about half way through the trail my runner started becoming way gutless and chugging when id let off the clutch, this is my daily driver and when im driving around town i dont notice much of a problem but when im at low rpms it gets funky, its an 85 4 runner, 22re ect. also sometimes when it gets weird i can heard a clicking sound coming from the ecu.

any ideas of what it could be? i was thinking vacum lines? does anyone know where i could find a picture or book that would show all the lines? my bible shows some but seems to leave a bunch out

on the intake manifold, twords the front is a bolt that holds the ground strap down.
check and make sure that is tight.

also. make sure the distributor cap is dry on the inside.

wow toyotas are cool. im gonna play with that in the morning

also whats a ground strap? im having a hard time finding that bolt.

is it possible that my ecu is bad? i have 220,000 miles on this thing
