22R emissions manual

When I had my fj60 there was a manual just for emissions stuff on the 2F engine. I looked on amazon but didn't see one for pickups. Does such a book exist?

I am dealing with some surging at idle and after reading some threads here I want to check the vacumn hoses to be sure everything is lined up properly.

What are some other causes of surging idle on carburetted 22R motors?

seeing as how the online FSM is for 85 and later and references EFI, A) are there significant differences between EFI emissions and carb emissions systems? B) which manual has the best info for 22R carbs?

oops. just answered my own question. found a whole section on carb stuff in the 85 FSM.
