Hey Everyone,

Looking ahead to our annual Christmas dinner and get together, please post up ideas and such for food, prizes, etc.

I'm happy to host at my home this year but open to other ideas too! December 13 or 20th work for me. Let me know!

Cheers
Rob

Looks like Dec 13 is preferred. Hosting at my place. Good food, raffle prizes and fun!

Grand Prize in the raffle is a winch this year! Lots of other goodies as well.

Dec 13, 2025
6pm arrival
Dinner at 7pm
Raffle at 8:30ish?

I don't make desserts so if someone wants to bring one and perhaps a salad or 3, that would be fantastic!

Ruwi and John V. are coming. See you there.

Add me to the roster!

I was planning to come down for the party, but I see this morning (Dec 11), all roads from the Interior to the Lower Mainland are closed.

HWY 1 is open although 1 lane closed out toward Hope due to a mudslide. Sumas Prairie near border and toward S. Chilliwack has some local flooding as well as Chilliwack River Road in places. Could be more rain on Sunday.

Sounds like Hwy 1 just closed at Barrowtown, wonder how quick it will drop?

Looking fw to seeing some friendly faces Sat eve, :princess: has been baking so I’ll steal a few treats.

Roads 'might' be ok tomorrow unless the next Pineapple Express is a doozie; would be nice to see you, we missed you on the trails this year.

What a great evening, really enjoy the visit and Rob put on a heck of a nice spread.

👍🏻

Thank You
Rob for hosting such a warm and welcoming Christmas Party with fantastic food. It was great seeing and catching up with fellow members and I’m looking forward to future adventures.
I especially liked Mike’s video of Kim turning his truck into a toboggan down that slope … Lol.
Hope everyone has a terrific Christmas holiday.

We mentioned the food…wow.
I only have the pie picture.

Even though I was unable to attend the party, I know Rob puts on a great evening
and works hard with the food and organization of prizes. He is generous in hosting
in his house and also his work to keep our club running in spite of declining membership.
You are a great bunch of guys and it's my honor to still be a member even without my
BJ74.

We missed you and Willi this time. Thanks for Willi's delicious baking and your present for the draw. Hope your surgery went well on Friday, seems you're "ticking" along just fine 😁!

Thanks @AJAEbj42 for hosting and a fantastic spread. And good to see all those who where there, catching up a bit. Missed you @Scalp and Willi and I think I did justice to all the baking :)

Sounds like some plans have been hatched for 2026 👍

I have a lot of fun planning and preparing for our Christmas party! It's not really work as I enjoy it so much. This is a great group of caring and humble friends!

Congrats to Mike for winning the winch and thanks to Willi for the baking and especially to my kitchen elf who helped me out a lot! (Kristen! :) )
