40 days in the RTT is going to be uncomfortable or it is for me after a few days anyway- I’d get a mattress topper.

Been a while since an update. The truck has gone through multiple rounds of changes. I built a camper last spring and spent the whole summer doing trips and breaking it in. Overall I am really happy with it, other than It's a brute to drive every day. Recently It's been in storage and I got an RCI bumper put on and some 39s. Have been enjoying doing some more wheeling focused trips recently.

Very cool build!
I’m also curious if you have weighed it? I have a FWC on my tundra and I’m at GVWR empty so putting me and anything else in it pushed me over. Would love to have a bed like yours for the storage boxes it could allow. But with already overweight, I can’t justify the cost. And I don’t want to let go and get an HD truck. So I’m stuck.

You mentioned it's no fun to drive as a daily, is that only because of the lack of rear weight?
I think your build looks absolutely amazing.

I am a couple hundred under GVWR with my normal stuff. However, I weighted it before a huge trip with an extra 30g of gas 20g water, full tanks etc etc and was 8,000

How did it fit through the squeeze on elephant hill? I would think that would be pretty dang tight?
Long story short it does not fit. Gone through it twice, first time with 37s and mainly just scratches on the door handles and C pillar. This time with the 39s got some pretty good rear damage. If I had a stock bed it would have been wrecked.

This is good to know. I have been wanting to take my 2010 on 37's through but have not made it down yet. Good to know it can be done with a few scratches.
