2016 Leather Blemishes?

Hi guys this is my first post here after buying a used 2016 LC with 15k miles on it. It is in overall great shape but has a few "hard spots" in the leather seating. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen a similar issue or possibly knew what would cause this? Lastly is there anything that can be done to sort of repair these or make them soft again? Theres a spot in the passenger seat about the size of a dime and then a few in the back seat a little larger, one thats maybe 1" x 2" which I will post a picture of. Thanks in advance for thoughts!

I’m guessing that could have happened, but I have no way of knowing as it was the first owner and I bought it certified used at Toyota. There are similar spots in the passenger front.

Doesn't CPO cover this ?

It almost seems like a chemical burn or something like that.

It looks more like a large abrasion area that is a bit dried out. I have a few on my seats that look similar.

I think this is considered more of a visual/wear item and not really a defect per se but I could be wrong. I mostly wondering if there is a softener or something I should consider using on it.

I'll guess since it's a hard spot, that there was a repair done to a small hole or rip in the leather.

Hard to tell from the pic, but sorta looks like a repair to me.
