We ran across a family with a Hyundai that had a flat tire along 300. They were attempting to install the spare, but the aluminum wheel was stuck on the hub, and would not come off. They asked if we had an air compressor- we did, and filled the tire to 36psi. Couldn't hear or see any leaks, so they deemed that sufficient to get them back to town. They almost forgot to tighten the lug nuts, that might have tested the wheel's bond to the hub at some point on the way to town.
We followed a 4 door Wrangler down 315 headed towards the slide off area. We were following to see if he would attempt a crossing, but somehow he Jedi mind tricked us into getting in front. Once at the slide off point, it would have been difficult to turn us all around, so we decided to cross. Wasn't bad, as the underlaying ice wasn't present yet. Everyone crossed without incident.
We also got to lend a hand repairing Tracy's broken roof rack at lunch time. That was pretty fun, and got a lot of creative thinking going on what you can actually repair with not much available.
Fun day. See y'all next year.
