Need a little direction. 2016 cruiser. 42k miles on now. Bought with 32. Noticed it came with slotted and drilled rotors and thought it was funny they would be changed out so soon, then 3k miles later they warped bad only causing vibration braking at 65 plus mph. Put new pads and normal rotors on and drove great 5k miles. The braking vibration over 65 is back now where it shakes steering wheel.
What would the next step be to check?? Caliper pins? Pistons?
Alignment has been dead on, no pulls on road or when braking...... tires are new and balanced
Thanks in advance

It seems odd the vibration only occurs over 65 mph. Have you run a search on MUD to see if others have had that issue? Did you go with OEM pads and rotors when you did the 35K brake change? Are you sure about the tires? Sorry for all the questions, but OEM pads and rotors with balanced tires should not vibrate only over 65 mph under normal braking after only 5K miles.

No offense but I tend to lean toward some way the driver is using the brakes that can cause this, assuming all brake parts are high quality. A common issue is regular braking from highway speeds then sitting still with your foot on the brake. This can leave spots of uneven pad deposit on the rotor and then things snowball from there.
