Hey guys,

Our camp is hosting another Women's Retreat this year and a Boulduc Plane Crash Run is on the schedule again.

Last year Sweaty and myself did the run and we also had our camp 15pass van go "most" of the way up and then a bunch of ladies hiked the rest of the way.

This year we would like to just have Cruisers do the trip so all the ladies can get to the site at the same time and not be tired from the pre and post hike to the site.

We are hoping to get mine and 3 other Cruisers (4 in total) to do the trip. Also hoping that each cruiser can take 3-4 passengers (not including driver).

Date: May 28, 2016 Saturday

Time: 12:30pm - 5:30pm (Come for lunch at 12:30 on us and leave by 1:15pm)

Cruisers Needed: 3 with seating capacity of 3-4 passengers, giving us 12-16 spaces for ladies.

Payment: We can fuel your vehicles at camp after the run, provide lunch, and get a run to the plane site out of it ;-)

Things we learned from last year.
- Airing down made for a much more comfortable ride.
- Don't forget to bring a chainsaw as trees may have "fallen" down across the road.
- You never know what conversations will pop up when you have a rig full of ladies...so put on your diplomatic hat and just be a driver ;-)

Hopefully this being on a Saturday (it was a Friday last year) more of you might be available.

Please express interest or suggestions here. I'd like to keep this within the Club for now, but would not be against opening it up if we can't confirm numbers.

Cheers!

I'd like to help PeeZed. But I'll have to talk to the Mrs. first to see if that day is free. Will let you know as soon as I can.

Cheers,
Nick

Thanks guys!

Jim, they aren't allowed to pass it to you; they will just have to pour it directly in your mouth as you drive ;-)

GTS, I have my fingers crossed!

I'm trying to plan on it, it's just a little far away for me to be able to be sure.
Would defiantly like to help and check out that site again though.

Checked with the wife and she has to work that day. We don't have any childcare options on weekends, so looks like I'm out. Was really wishing I could help. Sorry Paul. :(

I actually might be able to help out!

@PeeZed will you have your amazing 60 done by then? :steer:

@GTSSportCoupe, I'm with ya on the chillen's cramping your Cruiser time...maybe there's a way that they could ride up with you, chill at camp with a few camp family kids while you're up the mountain, and then bug you the whole ride home about when they can register for summer camp ;-)

@Sweatyforehead, two years in a row would be a new record...even though last year was the first ;-) And yes, my Cruiser will be done by March 14 because our family is taking it on a 6-day vacation to the Interior...so it better be ready!

That might actually work if someone is up for caring for them. They are 3 and 7, so the little one would need constant supervision. Older one could hang with other kids ok probably. We'll chat about it....

Even though your youngest isn't your first, leaving a 3yr old with strangers would not be easy for me...I didn't realize they were that young. Not that I doubt my peoples' ability to take care of children, but I'd totally understand if you (or the wife) weren't comfortable with that. But...let's still chat anyways :-)

Ok guys, this event is coming up in 5 days and I need to confirm who's gonna be there!

Hey PeeZed, would love to do it, but don't think I can with the kids situation. The young one would have a hard time spending a day with people she's never met. If she already was familiar with the situation there it would probably have worked. Sorry. Hope some of the other guys with no dependents will step up.

Okay, it looks like numbers are down for this option at this retreat this year (the coordinator told me today), so I'll only need one other rig so Sweatyforehead looks like the winner for the 2nd year in a row!!!

See you at 12:30 Sweaty :-)
