Yeah, I'm a granola bar and Via coffee kinda guy on lean & fast camping trips. Snack on peanuts, pretzels & LaCroix water all day in the cab. Conecuh sausage and beer for dinner. Whiskey for dessert. Not sure if the missus is going to tag along. Might drop her off at the Tolleson Inn on the way out to meet y'all ;)

Tolleson will be at Superlift by Monday

I'll figure something out, or up my meal plans if she comes along.

One way ticket to Houston on Southwest and the redheads ride again!!!!!

Oark is a tiny town in the middle of the Ozark Nat'l Forest. Oldest operating store in Arkansas there, and they have good lunch food. Great place to meet, because it's central to everything we'll be doing.

Let's meet there at noon, OR we can all meet up at Clarksville at 11am. Clarksville is right off I-40, and is where you get off the highway and turn north to head to Oark. There is a gas station there where we can fill up, which will be necessary. Won't see another gas station for 2 days. We also need to get some firewood there, as we had issues finding wood on the ground once we were on the trail. I'll get GPS coordinates for the Clarksville option when we get closer.

So, NOON in Oark or 11 in Clarksville on Wednesday, October 7th.

I'm working on some general routes for us as we speak. I'm operating on the assumption that we'll want to stay away from 'popular' spots and stick to back country driving with some scenery.

Oark have diesel? @beno better stock up on cans cause if gas is that scarce then diesel is gonna be like unobtanium in the ozarks...

I doubt it. A full tank in Clarksville should take care of him. We will probably drive less than 100 miles OffRoad. I carried an extra 2gal last time just in case but finished with just shy of a half tank.

I will probably be bringing my FJ60 for this trip depending on whether it is completed in a manner that I approve of. If not, the 70 will be making the trip. The diesel truck won't be a problem. If I bring my 60, I will probably need an extra gallon or two.

Guys to be honest it will be a miracle if I make this trip. I want to but I don't think time is on my side. Since I am burning timeoff waiting on my son to get out of his warm home in Tisa's belly.

Your Hundy wants to go. I'll be happy to take her.
