2013-2105 Headlights

Hello Everyone,

I’ve been a lurker for a while and haven’t really posted much, but I cannot seem to find a reliable answer to a question that I have.

I’m considering ditching my ‘17 raptor for a 200 series due to reliability concerns. However, during this vehicle trade, I figured that I would get a 13-15 LC and save a little money for suspension/wheels/tires. Even though I do think the ‘16 and up years look better.

Anyways, the thing that bugs me the most about the 13-15 is the headlights. From the side they seem a little pointy and way too shiny. Is there a reputable source for black housings? Has anyone applied a vinyl or smoke to their headlights?

Lightwerkz has done blackouts for me on two LCs.

They may look odd but let me assure you they work very well.

I considered blacking them out but realized the high beam is still a traditional bulb and reflector and would need a large area to remain chrome to work correctly. That was enough to discourage me from proceeding.
