$70k for a 21 with 44k miles? Where in the planet??So....a little different take: Lets suppose you get $40k for the '13 to a private party. You can buy the '21 for $70k, which means you're out the additional $30k to do the deal. Depending on a bunch of other stuff, you could keep the '13 for your adventure vehicle and ALSO have the '21 for around town and highway use for a measly $400-500/mo.
BOTH is better than either/or.
Plus the rest of us can get some rest instead of worrying about your buying decisions!

I was surprised to hear about the $40k for a '13 with 144k miles...$70k for a 21 with 44k miles? Where in the planet??

Hell, if I can get similar to that for my '13... my Carmax offer was $35k with 28k miles.
Unless you are trading in and getting a great deal on taxes, never sell to Carmax. They will always low ball you and take you for a ride real hard.I was surprised to hear about the $40k for a '13 with 144k miles...

Can confirm. I only go there for what I’d consider to be the lowest offer to start from.Unless you are trading in and getting a great deal on taxes, never sell to Carmax. They will always low ball you and take you for a ride real hard.

I heard Carmax had low offers, but there has to be a limit to taking advantage of someone...Unless you are trading in and getting a great deal on taxes, never sell to Carmax. They will always low ball you and take you for a ride real hard.
Personally if it wasn’t white I’d do it, but being I’m not a huge white fan anymore I’d stick with the silver. My wife’s X5 is white and other then the ease of keeping it clean, I don’t like it especially the ridiculous sun glare off the hood at certain parts of the day.
I was in the same situation last year. I had the chance to pick up a super low mileage, hardly ever driven (truck legit looked like it was just delivered) LC HE for my 2011. I passed because I couldn’t do white again. I drove it, loved it, but just couldn’t.
