Sunsets the last two nights have been spectacular! I'll post pics at some point.
Having a blast! Spotted people through Black Bear all day today. Alpine Loop tomorrow. Great vendors! Great participants! I would recommend everyone try to make this event at some point! All my pics (6500 time lapse photos so far) are on my DSLR but here are a few from camp.
Have been sifting through pics this am. Here is the first batch.
Had an awesome time as a Summit First Timer! The committee made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I have to shout out a huge thanks to Matt Rob for getting me enthused to come down. I don't think I would have without his encouragement. I had ane awesome time spotting on Black Bear and Leading the Alpine Loop. Had a great group of people with me. Thanks for making this FJC Centric (as it should be) event inviting to non FJC Owners. I would encourage any Toyota owner to put this on your list for next year!

Seriously guys, I can't say enough about how great of an event it was. The fact that it's only 2 hours from home was just icing.
Woody stepped up big time and lead Black Bear on Friday. My number one experience of the weekend was getting to spot Deb (yellow truck behind woody's 80) on the steps. It was like her second day off road period and she did great! I ran into her at the Metal Tech party and she gave me a big hug. That kind of thing is what it's all about!

Awesome shots Jon, I lead Debbie up California and Corkscrew the day before and she was a total newb with a great attitude. She asked me about Black Bear and I suggested she go for it since there was going to be a spotter there that would take good care of her. I ran into her on main street in Telluride and she literally screamed with excitement!
