It's been a while since posting. I'm at a loss here. I need to replace the low beams. I was running the Hikari Ultra LED and now need to replace them. What are you guys running out there now. Not interest in HID conversion. Thanks in advance.

A quality clear, not blue tinted, H11 halogen bulb from Philips, Osram, Sylvania, or Hella. LEDs are s*** in halogen housings, the emitter is too large/thick to recreate the beam pattern of an incandescent filament. No apologies.

H9 swap is the real winner here. Very slight modification to the bulb but will provide an instant 40% bump in max lumens without anything else done. Lx570 projectors suck with leds.

There are some newer leds that work better. Hawkglow and a few others have 360 led bulbs designed as halogen specific replacements. Others have fisheye cutoff lenses to have a good adjustable cutoff for halogen housings.

I wish to do same thing. What are good halogen upgrade bulbs for high beam on '10 models and similar? Thanks

9011 swap takes the cake for the high beam position. Slight trimming to one bulb tab so it clicks into place. Similar idea to the h9 swap for the 08-11 low beam.

Seconded. I’ve been running these in the high beam positions of a number of vehicles over the years with great results. Far better than the LED options IMO.

Interesting. No complaints about LED pattern in my low beams.

No problem with modern drop in H11 LEDS providing even coverage, great brightness, and a good cut-off in the early gen LX halogen projector lens. I'm probably 5" taller than a stock rig and have never gotten flashed for offensive lights.
