Someone did a replacement with rx housings to get hid. Many have done led.

i Thought my 08 headlights were completely done and i'd done your same search numerous times. I ended up per advice from numerous others putting in some elbow grease and a year later they still look fantastic. They have gone slightly yellow from when i 1st did, but amazed how good they still look.

Good drill and all wet sanding. Spent about an hour on it:

I've done it before as well....but now this time its hazed to the point of no return. It was done professionally again and they couldnt get the clear back. I'm just looking for an alternative before I lay the $$$$ on factory OEM headlights.

I just thought LC parts were high...in May I bought a 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider. The headlights are hazed. Try $3200 a piece on for size!

Now that you feel better, go grab you some new LC lights!

Don't waste your time with anything other than OEM. The quality simply isn't there. I am waiting for mine to get ugly enough to pony up the money for OEM ones. I went from 2011 factory to 2013-2015 style lights. The wiring was the easy part. Getting them to be watertight and not collect moisture was a 4 month affair and a ton of silicone. Pony up and buy the factory ones. Check the other headlight threads, Ive got comments and pictures in there. Complete waste of money. Don't be like me.

This guy gets it. The cost difference for OEM can easily be explained by the quality. Headlights are exactly the kind of thing cheap producers can cut tons of corners on but on an eBay listing you won’t see the difference.. then you actually need them to work in the real world and spend the cost difference in time and effort to get them barely functional.
