2011 FJ Front Diff Assembly Help Please! (1 Viewer)

Front Differentail advice needed!!
2011 FJ Automatic 4WD with 4.56 gear
Can someone tell me where this fitting/shim goes and what it does. It came off with the case cover before I had a chance to pay attention to how it was installed. None of the toyota parts diagrams show it.

Dang, it's been a minute since I had mine on the bench. But I think your first pic is correct, with the tabs on either side of that oiling port.

Great. Your the second person to confirm my thoughts. The Eaton locker worked when It was installed, but never worked since. Test the ohms from the plug it read zero...bad stator/magnet. End result, bench tested nothing, removed the molex plug and used bare wires and it worked!!! Damn plug was bad, let to bad connection to the wiring harness. Lots of work, but at least I know what was wrong.
