Howdy all-

I have my eyes on a Pacific Blue Metallic 2010 LC and I’m curious as to the board’s thoughts on the 2010 vs the 2013-2015 cruisers. I know some of the material differences but really like the blue color.

Any thoughts would be appreciated concerning on road driving etc.

Thanks!

Xenon headlamps, radar cruise, updated multi-color MFI in the cluster, updated infotainment/nav, ventilated seats (technically not cooled).. IMO the 08-11 looks a bit better.

Personally I dislike the radar cruise but the headlamps and MFI sold me on a 13 over a 08-11. If you are all about the vented seats LX570 came with them from 08. Otherwise the 13-15 feels a lot more modern to drive from the seat.. the headlamps and MFI make a big difference.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think 2013 (and 2016) the seats were changed to better leather. Possibly vinyl in 2008-2012? Real leather in 2013, then semi aniline in 2016...

wait what?! Vinyl?!?! The brochure states leather. Wow this is huge if true.

FWIW Toyota has described all seating surfaces on US spec 200s as "leather-trimmed" since its introduction in MY08.

To the OP: If exterior color is really influencing your decision making process and assuming it's competitively priced, enjoy the cost savings and grab it up. They will, or should, drive the same regardless of MY spec.

My 13 has leather main surfaces but the sides of the seat upper and lower are vinyl.

OLDaggie2000 - I really enjoy the ventilated seats and radar cruise in my 15. Either way...you can't go wrong. Get the one that you like and enjoy it!

I don’t know about earlier LCs, but adaptive radar cruise on my 2019 is FANTASTIC!!! Very smooth. Not jerky. My 2019 Lexus GX adaptive cruise is just horrible. Very jerky on the highway.

I just adaptive cruise everytime i am on the highway.
