I have a really weird issue I was hoping to get some advice for. I bought a 2010 GX460 a few weeks ago and the position of the gas pedal is really uncomfortable. There's a bump in the floor right below the gas pedal that seems to push my foot up too high. It's even worse in dress shoes because of the heel on the shoe.

Is this just a me issue? I've thought about having a body shop remove the raised section of the floor and weld in a flat plate, but not sure I could even find somebody who would do that.

Any advice?

I did order seat jackers, they should be here in a few days.
I'm a huge fan of the WeatherTech floor mats. I have them in both my GX and my wife's Taco. I have the Ecru interior which has the brown accent carpet and plastic. The WeatherTech's I got match almost perfectly with the carpet. I keep the WeatherTech on the bottom and then have the Lexus floor mat on top. They both will be able to be hooked onto the floor mat hook. Doing this, I always have nice floor carpet, but my shoes are ever full of mud, or spill a drink inside, I can pull out the Lexus carpet mat and have full protection so nothing gets on the installed carpet.

Adding all that may level out your floor board. But considering I've never had that issue, have you tried feeling around and see if maybe it's a cable or something that was shifted over?

Good point, I should pull up the carpet and see if there's something weird going on.
