Need to put new tires on my 2002 LC, and I thought I might move up to 18in rims as well. Found these [see below] locally. They are takeoffs from a 2009 Tundra. I have seen a few of the other model wheels on here, but not this particular set. It looks like they may have the same problem with the center cap as the other ones do, anyone have any first hand knowledge or advice?

Posted this in the main 100 forum, did not even know that this forum existed. I live in Jackson - WTC49, I heard you might be able to help me with this...

Jester - this is Tony G., by the way (Elizabeth's brother).

Thanks

I dont like them as much as the other Tundra 18's I have seen, but I need new tires now and I can get those rims and tires for 500. I am not crazy about them but I feel like anything is better than the 16s.

I understand that the bolts will work, I am worried about the center cap problem. The switches I have seen on here have mostly involved using the old LC center cap, because the tundra cap wasn't deep enough or something. That would definitely look like crap on those wheels.

If I don't get new wheels, what tires do yall suggest for the 16in wheels?

I like the Nitto AT tires but it does not look like they come in a 275/70/16?

Any suggestions? This is my everyday car, so prefer not to put superswampers on it.

Call Chris like Bomar says. He'll hook you up with some kick ass Cooper tires. They have a reallt nice AT tire out now if that's what you are looking for.
