Well, unfortunately the time has come to thin the heard. I bought this a little over 1.5 years ago as a temporary solution, but it was so excellent as a DD I kept it and drove it nearly every day. I have a vehicle collection problem and recently bought a Tesla as my daily driver, so I have 2 200s, the Tesla, a classic J**p, and my wife has a CRV. I would love to keep them all, but it's time to get rid of at least 1 vehicle.

This LX was bought new at Stevinson Lexus in Lakewood, CO, and was serviced there essentially its entire life with the exception of about 1.5 years when the guy I bought it from had moved to the east coast. I bought it off him and sent it back to CO where I've been continuing servicing it at Stevinson. It's been perfectly reliable and only required regular maintenance. The only things I've done to the truck outside of normal service are:

- 275/65/20 BFG AT KO2 tires with 85% tread life
- New windshield installed at Lexus a couple months ago
- Weather tech mats front and rear (Lexus carpet mats and Lexus rubber mats are included as well)
- Expensive full detail just completed this week
- Rear brakes and brake fluid flush done a few thousand miles ago
- Hikari LED headlights
- ARB front tow points (never used, just put them on all the trucks I buy)

If you're looking at this post on Mud, you already know all the good stuff that comes on the Lexus. I legitimately believe the Lexus is the better value than the Land Cruiser and is quieter, more luxurious, has more features and handles better. This one has the Mark Levinson sound but no cool box, and honestly I think the storage space gained with no cool box is 100x more useful. I've spent a lot of seat time in my 14 LC, 16 LC and this LX, and I think this LX drives the best of the bunch. I'm choosing to keep the LC over the LX because I've dropped a lot of money into mods into the LC, otherwise I'd be selling the LC instead.

I have 28 pages of service records from the Lexus dealer as well as a clean Carfax attached. The truck has 171.3k miles on it, and that should not change as it's sitting in the garage until it's sold. I’m asking $24.5k.

I never thought I’d find a better daily driver than the LX, but the Tesla combined with a charging station at work is absolutely killer. It will be sad to see the Lexus go though - it’s been a wonderful truck!

Yes it’s true! Haha John took it up and over Ophir Pass which was one of only 2 times it had been wheeled (Argentine Pass is the other) and he can attest the AHC is pretty phenomenal off road. Our LC has BP51s, and I personally prefer the AHC over BP51s. The main reason is the hydraulic action of AHC and the fact the wheels are not cross linked like with KDSS means you don’t get the massive back and forth rocking motion off road of on road over cracks and bumps. It’s truly a phenomenal system that also works better on road - quick flip of s switch to go into sport mode around twisty roads for the drive back home too.

Thank you sir! I pulled it off last summer to take the dirt bikes in for service, and I'm pretty sure I tossed it in an unmarked bin somewhere in the garage :D. I appreciate the offer - I'll take a look around for it to see if I can find mine otherwise I'll shoot you a text!
 
Update: I’ve been getting slammed with inquires, but everyone so far has been out of state except for one in northern Colorado. I’ve had a couple people ask for more photos of the damage on the passenger door, so I figured it was easier to post pics here. It’s very hard to see unless you really look for it (other than the black marks/scratches), but if I had to guess I’d say it appears a prior owner rolled over a loose semi tire tread and it was flung up on to the passenger door trim. I’ve never even attempted to fix it or any of the imperfections mainly because it’s kinda nice to not worry about every little ding and scratch. It’s still unbelievably clean for the year and miles, especially the interior which looks better than most I’ve seen that are a lot newer.

Here are some quick pics from this morning from a few angles. Ignore the reflection of the sidewalk cracks - the Lexus is so amazingly shiny everything reflects in it 😆

I also have been asked about front end stone chips, and it’s shockingly void of them. It has a clear bra over the front portion of the hood and all over in little places like behind the door handles, and it’s done a good job of keeping the truck clean. The grill is cleaner than most I’ve seen as well including some 2015 models. There are a couple little dings from stones that I have not filled even though I have the correct paint pen from Lexus. I am not a fan of trying to cover everything up before I sell a vehicle so it is just like it has been for us for the past 1.5 years, just cleaned up.

I had the Lexus dealer refurbish the headlights about 6 months ago (in the service records), and they look great. The Hikari LED headlights are phenomenal and have been properly adjusted to be aimed where they should be. They are better than the OEM HID headlights I had on my 2014 LC, but they’re just not quite as good as the 16+ LC. The Lexus ones do swivel however which the Toyota ones don’t, so it’s close to a wash. I like them both a lot and the LEDs are a massive improvement.

I looked at this truck and it is super clean and everything works perfectly. the diff locker engages and disengages with no hangup. The added HID headlights are a big improvement. All electronics like the seat motors and AHC are smooth and working like they are supposed to. Exterior paint and interior leather and carpet are all in great shape. Matt has pointed out the only issues (the passenger door dent is barley noticeable and the rear bumper has a small puncture hole) Basically this is a well kept 10+ year old vehicle
 
*I wanted to clarify here since I've had 3 people ask me about the timing belt...the 200 does NOT have a timing belt!! There is no "big 180k service" like the 100 series!*

We had a “blizzard” yesterday, so with 5 cars and not enough garage spaces for everything the Lexus went into storage the night before. Of course I took the opportunity to snap side by side pics. Considering the LC is “worth” about $40k more than the LX, I’d say the LX is a heck of s bargain (like I said above it unquestionably drives better). Also the tires are taller which is funny considering the visual trick the 20” wheels play.

I continue to get inquiries each day, and I'm ready to move this thing. KBB pricing is below, so you can see it falls directly in line with blue book (ridiculous if you think buying from a private party is worse on this truck - a dealer will never give you the kind of transparency that I have). There are other ones with a little less miles for around the same price, but pull the Carfax and service history on them to see often multiple accidents, service history nightmares, etc. If you look at these forums, the headaches and costs of buying a basket case 200 are well documented and not worth it. Just some things to consider as you search.

That said, I'll do a single price adjustment, and the price is what the price is. This is the nicest car you can own for this price, and it's ridiculously cheap when you consider registration is $80/year, insurance is dirt cheap, and depreciation is roughly $0.01-0.02/mile meaning 10,000 miles will cost you about $100 in depreciation.
