Thanks..so the divider is "inside" the opening..not an outside tab, correct? Also, did you try using H11 bulbs for high beam as suggested by some?

Any issues since going to the H9 bulb? Do you need to take out the battery to get to the driver side low beam?Snip the plastic divider in the H9 bulb to match H11. You don’t need to do anything else - just angle the H9 and it will fit into the housing - just did it this past weekend
None at all! Totally happy with the resultsAny issues since going to the H9 bulb? Do you need to take out the battery to get to the driver side low beam?
Specifically which bulbs were on the affected wiring?update with *potential issue... melted low beam connector somehow on passenger side and replaced that yesterday. Not sure exactly what caused failure, but will update if it occurs again...
H9 low beam, only thing I noticed was the cooked connector, bulb is fine and still operational. Only thing I noticed was the new NAPA connector I put in it looks like I may not have shaved down the guide enough on the bulb to seat all the way as it didn't seat on the new connector, so took off some more material and is good for now.Specifically which bulbs were on the affected wiring?

On the initial install, did you put any dielectric grease on?That could definitely be the cause. Probably worth checking the other side.
I didn't. Personally I don't like to add the stuff (it makes a mess) when toyota didn't feel it was necessary from the factory. On the initial install, did you put any dielectric grease on?
