I want to say that I read somewhere the 06 and 07 had fuel pump overheating issues where they would randomly stall out. Can anyone advise as to the symptoms and fix? Thanks!

I drive a 01 with 1FZ engine.
It is not about the oem pumps.
I got AEM and Aeromotive 340lph heavy-duty pumps on my tanks.
I have the same headache as you do.
Have you tried switching the tanks when the sall happens?
Mine comes alive with the new tank. After few minuts (like 10 to 15) the faulty pump comes back and works normally.
Mine also happens in hot days in cruising condition or under pressure dive terrains.
Still searching for the main cause but no clue so far.

I leave my cap a bit loose which lets the gas go away.
It doesn't help.
