Hello all,
I am having an issue with my 100; for some context, it happened as I was leaving work this morning--it is the coldest day I have driven in since last winter/spring.
At low speeds (talking leaving a parking lot, turning around etc), when I turn the wheel and try to accelerate (FWD and REV), the truck goes nearly nowhere. I am getting revs out of the engine, but it has the feeling like a 4X4 on dry pavement trying to negotiate tight turns. Either that or the transmission is slipping. It's strange that it only happens in tight turns, though.
There are no abnormal noises or smells, both CVs are visibly intact...
Is it possible the CDL is engaged? The CDL light is not illuminated and I didn't press the button. I'm wondering if the cold snap froze the actuator in a non-normal position.
I'm just asking the think tank to see if anybody else has had a similar issue. I'm headed to bed right now and won't be able to look underneath the thing until tomorrow.
Thanks in advance!
