Good day to everyone,

I replaced my globes this weekend (used authentic globes and fluid), followed the procedure that I found in the forums, and my suspension is rock hard. It will cycle between low, N, and High quicker than before however, when it gets to the setting height, it has no give what so ever. I replaced the globes because the front started to get pretty stiff, the back was ok. Since I was doing the job, I opted to replace all 4. I did notice when I went to bleed the globes after install, it didn't seem like a lot of air came out. I was certainly expecting more. I do not have Techstream, is there anything I can do to bleed the system more?

Thank you!!

If the rear springs have been replaced with a stiffer option and if someone cranked up the torsion bars or replaced them this could explain the issue. You really need to check the pressures to see what's really going on.

You need to find someone with TS or set it up yourself to see what the pressures are and what the system is seeing. If the system is adjusting quickly and you're getting solid fluid flow out of the new globes, I wouldn't keep bleeding at this point until you can verify pressures and such.

The vehicle has 165K on it and it's all original suspension.

I don't think the fluid is flowing, from low to high, the fluid level only changes 4 notches.

Update: I installed the new globes from Toyota and everything works perfectly!! I got a full refund from the first set of globes so all is well.

So where did the first set of "authentic globes" come from? Were they also from Toyota or someplace else?
