2004 LC OEM Backup Camera not working.

My OEM backup camera on my 2004 LC is not working. When I go into reverse the screen displays “check surroundings for safety” and the screen is dark. Other than that the screen works normally.
I couldn’t find any info in my owners manual on where a fuse would be located. I cleaned the camera lens with no improvement.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Was it working and now isn't? If so, what changed, if anything.

i have the same issue in my 100. I bought it with this issue and thought it would be an easy fix, guessing the camera shorted out internally. I took apart the back hatch and in reverse the camera was not getting any voltage. I took apart the dash and checked the connection on the head unit, no change. So in my truck i know i have a pinched wire/ short some where. Sooo 5 years later, i never fixed it. No time to really commit to taking apart most of the interior to find the issue. You should probably find the ecu/that the rear camera, also the head unit, take apart the hatch and check for voltage etc. godspeed.
