Yes, the 2004 has side curtain airbags. They work well. I know.

Thanks for the confirmation. It's confusing because some LC/470 adverts say "side frontal" airbags, which make me doubt whether the airbags extend all the way down the passenger compartment. Found this info in a 2004 LC manual.
