I'm a long time lurker, but haven't posted. I got alot of the ideas for mine from here and appreciate the wealth of knowledge you guys have shared. I am looking forward to building a newer GX460 next for my growing family.
2003 Lexus GX470
light blue mica color
grey interior
160k
navigation
non-kdss
timing belt done at 91k
Koyo Radiator done at 155k
Complete AC rebuild at 155k, condenser/compressor and valve in dash.
Transfer case seal redone last week
Bilstein 5100's all the way around, front set to 1.75 in.
Airbags have been removed, coil overs in the rear
Running boards have been removed
Dash has been replaced last spring under warranty
Grom Aux input added
Coin holder where old airbag controls were
I just noticed its throwing some grease from both front axles, and lower control arm bushings need to be replaced.
Overall a solid SUV, we are looking to get a GX460 and would like to not put anymore money into this one if possible. I have an appt next week at the shop to have the axles and all bushings done. If that happens I will probably keep it a while longer.
message me for more info or more pics.
Thanks,
Justin
