I am looking to borrow a Nav disk for my 2002 LX. My vehicle shows the no disk error. So I figured my disk drive was bad. Turns out there is no disk installed. So now I want to make sure it's working before I drop the cash on the latest update disk. Can someone help me out?
I've got a disc you can use (have), but not sure if it will work for your need. I had a 2004 LC (don't have it any more) and remember I wanted to update the NAV, so I bought a new disc. Happened to remember where I stashed the old disc. Here's the one I've got. Let me know if you want to give it a try. The numbers on this disc are 86271-33040 and 464210-0337.
Thank you BillWms01. I think it will not work though. I think most of the disks I've seen online for my gen cover up to 2003 vehicles. Anybody that can confirm this ?

This is a two-part deal. The disc has to be the correct generation and the same map data or newer than what was last loaded in that unit. When a nav unit is updated the older version disc no longer functions. In other words you may find a used disc but if it has older data than what was last loaded in that unit it will not work.
