ARB posted on their USA website, that they discontinued front bumper options for 3rd Gen. Does anyone knows why?
Is there any companies who still have stock of those bumpers?

im getting a 98 SR5 this week. so im browsing your site looking at options. im very into the offroading crowd and looking for some body armor for the runner.

i really dig the looks of the armorology. does anyone know if they are still in business and carry those products for the 3rd gen?

As far as I know they are still around. I don't know if it's still true but keep in mind that they require you to leave your 4Runner with them while they build the bumper on the truck.

What would be the best option for truck occasionally sees off-road at medium trail level? What tire size can I put with 2.5" suspension, 33s or 35s?

With just a 2.5" suspension lift you are looking at 33s without doing any additional clearance work in the wheel wells.

I run 35s (315/75-16) on my '01 4Runner and have 2.25" up front, 3.5 in the rear and a 1.5" body lift and I still had to do some work in the front well for clearance.

BTW, in your signature you stated that you have Sanoran Steel rear bumper. Have you droped your truck at Steve place for some time to do it? How long did it took to build it around the truck?

Yes, Steve at Sonoran Steel had my truck for the time required to make the bumper.

I passed by dealership this afternoon and look at the brochure for 2002. Interesting find (for me ...). The brochure doesn't list Sport Edition. I always thought that it was Sport Edition for 2001 and 2002. My understanding was that:
- SR5 - is the basic
- Sport Edition (used to be called Highlander before Highlander came out in 2001 as a separate model between RAV4 and 4Runner) - medium level packaged
- Limited - fully loaded
Brochures (both 2001 and 2002) shows the following:
- Badlands - seems as basic for me
- SR5 Pkg "B" - seems below medium level package
- SR5 Pkg "C" - medium level package
- SR5 Pkg "D" - above medium level package
- Limited - fully loaded
One thing for sure, they are 3.4 V6 all. This is good.
About packages. Is it just Canadian market had different options or I lost myself in trim levels?

Couple of things:

--Sonoran Steel does not and will not build swingouts for their rear bumpers anymore (the pic above shows it with the swingout). I've communicated with Steve a few times about this.
--The pic above listed as the 4x4labs one is not actually built by 4x4labs, just used 4x4labs spindle and latch (Its my 4Runner ). It was built by a local-to-me smaller fab shop (krazyfab.com--though not much on their site). 4x4labs will do a rear bumper for the 3rd gen though. I've spoken to Luke about it a while back. And yes, you do have to drop your truck off to them.
-- that 2002 4Runner history site states "All 4Runner SR5 models now have standard 15-inch aluminum alloy wheels" and says it again a few paragraphs later. I'm pretty sure they meant 16-inch...

My vote is Irbis for all your bumper needs. If I didn't have the local guy build mine up, I would've gone Irbis.

And lift kit...I am as of yet undecided myself and currently changing out to some other components...

I didn't know about Sanoran swing. I agree with you as Irbis was a second option for me.
I done some Google search and that what come up under 4x4lab bumper, sorry didn't want to put you in a bad position. Thank you for clarifying this.
What lift do you have and what components are changing?

I've got Bilstien 5100 with tundra coils up front and lx450 coils with Tokico LC 80 series shocks in the rear. Its all going away. Except maybe the tundra coils.

The bilstein 5100 was not ever intended for the 4runner, but I thought i would give it a try. No good. Its a lot better on the Tacoma I guess...
