Hey fellow LC lovers

Just drove from San Diego to Sacramento and as soon as I got off my exit the truck was shifting funny. Almost feels like it’s in 4lo,

Had trans service 4k ago and fluid looks great and level is good. Unplugged batteries to try and reset shifting, no change.

It revs to 2500-2800 before it’ll go into 2nd 3rd to 4th seems fine and seems okay at higher speed but does have a whine but it’s not consistent.

Any input would be helpful and appreciated.

I’m assuming it’s the TC.

It’s on 35s with high/low tcase gears and front and rear ARBs and manual locking hubs.

There's nothing in the tcase that moves between/during/after transmission shifts. Its just just the input gear turning the idler gear turning the hi range gear.

Sounds like your transmission is holding 1st gear too long. Try the 2nd gear start button and see what happens.

Sorry. By TC I was referring to torque converter.

Thanks for the help! Still figuring it out
