I recently installed these in the cruiser,
Kenwood KMM-BT312U this is a bluetooth, digital media receiver. No CD
Metra 70-8113 This uses the factory amp, super easy install.
Antenna Adapter for the antenna in the back glass.
2 Into 1 Antenna Cable to combine the signals from front and rear antennas

Ham,
Kenwood TM-281A
used 4 3/8 thick spacers, and 4 4mmx15mm bolts. I used the existing rear hole in the DIN plate, and made a new forward one. Eventually I would like to make a filler plate to finish off the opening around the radio, but I've been saying that for years about the same setup in the 80.

Trim removal, no screws just pops out.

As it sits currently, I'm going to mount the mic holder to the switch blank on the right side.

Thanks Tim, I'm good on the antenna mount, I forgot you make those. Any chance your still making the 100 series mic holders?!

Putting one of these ham radios in soon. Same location, same antenna location, got any don’t do this tips?

Nope, everything was easy. The trim comes out easier when its hot in the car.
Thanks, I have replaced the factory head unit so I know the basics. How did you mount the smaller than din radio in the opening?

thats the 3/8" spacers I mentioned in the 1st post. you'll also need to make new holes in the mounts
